Lencho lives with his family in a small village and earns his livelihood by farming. He hopes for a good harvest in his field and prays to God. One day, it rains as per his prayers. But soon, the rain turns into a heavy hailstorm and his entire crop is destroyed. After this loss, Lencho and his family get discouraged. They start fearing hunger and poverty. But Lencho has a deep faith in God. He thinks that God will help him. With this faith, he writes a letter to God.
In the letter, Lencho describes his difficulties and asks God for 100 pesos (money) so that he can save his family. He puts the letter in the post office. The post office employees are very surprised to see Lencho's faith. After this loss, Lencho and his family get discouraged. They start fearing hunger and poverty. But Lencho has a deep faith in God. He thinks that God will help him. With this belief, he writes a letter to God.
In the letter, Lencho describes his difficulties and asks God for 100 pesos so that he can save his family. He drops the letter at the post office. The post office employees are very surprised to see Lencho's faith. The head of the post office, who is a good man, along with his colleagues decide to help Lencho. They collect money from their side and send it to Lencho. However, they are able to collect only 70 pesos.
When Lencho gets the money, he counts it and gets angry thinking that God did not send the full amount. He believes that the post office employees have stolen his money. So he writes another letter to God and prays to him to send the rest of the money. He also asks God to send the money directly because the post office employees are dishonest (Bunch of Crooks).
